Director Ernest D Hernandez

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico Ernest had a love and passion for Movies and Film making at an early age but it was not until the first summer of 1996 when he watched the movie From Dusk Till Dawn, Directed by Robert Rodriguez. That day was a catalyst of his dream career and realized a Chicano like him could succeed in the Film industry.  Now filled with ambition, Ernest began to write his own screen plays and shoot short films using the limited resources he could to fulfill his visual goals of his films.  By his senior year in high school Ernest had won 3 local film festivals and one screen writing festival. After graduating High school in 2006 he attended CNM Community College and in 2008 he graduated with his diploma for Film Technician 101. Over the next couple of  years Ernest worked in broadcast Television for one of the local tv stations KRQE News 13 as a floor director, and also worked on  independent production opportunities around town such as PA on the hit TV Show Breaking Bad. After years of contemplating where to begin the pursuit for his career, in 2016 Ernest moved to Los Angeles California to chase his dream of being a Filmmaker. In 2017 Ernest graduated with his degree in Film making from the New York Film Academy in Burbank California.  He is skilled in all areas in both Pre and Post production in film making such as directing, writing, DP, 1st & 2nd AC, editing, sound boom, gaffing, and griping. Since Graduating film school Ernest has continued to work on multiple professional productions such as Feature Films , Short Films, Commercials and Music Videos in the Los Angeles area.
